Kids’ Place Drama Team
Drama Department Coordinator
This person would assist the children’s pastor in different facets of the KP! drama department, including setting rehearsal times, contacting actors, making sure the costumes, props and sets are being attended to in a timely manner, etc. Directing is also possible depending on the experience or willingness to learn of this person.

Drama Department Assistant Coordinator
This person would work in conjunction with the Drama Coordinator to contact artists, a seamstress (when appropriate), and assemble needed props and costumes. Make copies and distributes scripts (either by e-mail or hard copy), and telephones drama team members regarding weekly assignments.

Actors/ Actresses (adults would act with the children)
Those involved would need to attend rehearsals for the drama to be presented and be responsible to know the script (usually just a few minutes long) by the second rehearsal. They would also need to act during both Sunday services, arriving 45 minutes early on Sunday morning.

Costumes and Props
This person would work in conjunction with the Drama Coordinator to assemble needed props and costumes and to contact artists and a seamstress (when appropriate).

Stage Crew
One person per acting team who would need to attend one rehearsal and set up the stage and props to make sure everything is ready to go before both services on Sunday.

Set Builder
This person would create simple back drops, flats, and props (carpentry skills helpful, but not required).

Kids’ Place! Artist
helps paint props, wall hangings and signs. Time: 1 – 2 hours per week.

Lighting and Sound – Leader
This person trains the KP! Technicians (children) to control the sound, video and tape systems for performances.

Lighting and Sound KP! Technicians (Adults or older children)
Four people who would be trained by the Lighting and Sound Leader and might have to attend one rehearsal. They would need to arrive 45 minutes prior to the service to cue videos and tapes and to set up mic’s. At the end of the service, they would put away mic’s and cords, turn off lights and any systems used.
