your local church, a 4 square church

4 squares church – you’ve probably seen the building on your way somewhere and the name just flashes by.  Or maybe you saw a logo with four boxes of different colors.

We are actually not 4 squares church, but a part of the Foursquare denomination.  Crescenta Valley Community Church is a local church that devotes its entire existence to serving Jesus through God.

Are you looking for a place to discover just who this God is?  Are you curious about why you were made and what your purpose is in this world?  Perhaps you are looking for a quiet place to consider life or a group of friends.  Whatever you are looking for, we can meet your need.  We will always deal with you honestly and lovingly.

Life can often be confusing and misleading.  We live in a state known for people who are trying to "find themselves" and that search is always good.  Let us go along the road with you as you discover those truths about who you are.

Though not actually a 4 squares church, the Foursquare denomination loves every person that we have the opportunity of meeting – our call is to preach Jesus Christ, God's Son, as the Savior, Baptizer with the Holy Spirit, Healer and Coming King – these are the 4 squares on which our church is based. Within these overarching beliefs of the denomination, CVCC has crafted its own unique purpose.

Our purpose is to develop fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ through:
Intimate relationship with God
Involved relationship within community
Intentional relationship with others, connecting them with Jesus

We do all we can to make CVCC a place for you to belong and a place for you to become – wherever you are in your life’s journey.  Our belief is that God designed each and every person for relationship.  That in the garden of Eden, when we decided to go our own way, God stepped in and took responsibility for his creation and set in motion events that would bring us, his children back to him by coming to earth Himself as Jesus.  During His time on Earth, God lived a perfect life and then sacrificed himself in order to help us overcome our unhealthy choices.  Through Him, we can gain health and eternal life in perfect relationship as we were originally intended to experience.

We welcome you to visit us – we have events throughout the week and there are pastors available to you.  Additionally, we have two contemporary worship services each Sunday morning at 9:30 and 11:15 am.
