Located on La Crescenta Avenue in La Crescenta, California, Crescenta Valley Community Church, or CVCC, sits in the middle of Los Angeles, the thriving entertainment industry of the world.  Surrounded by movies, music, and theatre, we see people from all walks of life – from all around the world, coming to our fair city.  We minister with and to people from all industries and all experiences.  From those just entering the world to those that have seen many decades, each has their story to tell and we believe it is very important to sit and listen to all those stories.

 Whether it is 2010, 2011 or 2050, we work constantly to find ways to communicate directly to you, ways that each person finds interesting and intriguing.  Working to be relevant to anyone that walks through our doors, we know that in 2010, Foursquare churches must approach all guests and members with an experience that rivals what can be seen in the local Cineplex or home theatre.

 Professional musicians perform every Sunday for worship, mixed by experienced soundmen, we have a powerful sound that rivals anything that may be heard in a club.  With the highest quality mixers, speakers and equipment, you will know you felt the floor move when you are in our services.

 With a professional quality editing suite, we incorporate uniquely created clips nearly every week that speak directly to people’s interests, keeping them up to date with what’s going on while speaking in a language that we are all familiar with - incorporating video and clips into almost all services, we reach the cinephile.

 Most important, Pastor Scott Wood speaks each week directly from scripture.  But this isn’t antiquated information that talks of an age long past and no longer relevant.  Using expository techniques, Pastor Scott dissects the scriptures and communicates them in such a way that deal directly with the stuff of life.  The things that reach into our lives where we really sit every day.  Constantly researching and reading the top people in their fields today, Pastor Scott stays on top of the issues going on in the world and in our backyard, reaching each seat with a personal love and conviction that doesn’t shy from applying the scripture to his own life.

 We are all together here on earth, having been created for love and relationship.  CVCC was designed to take our common experiences and speak the love of God through Jesus Christ into us all so we can understand how best to be healthy and live out lives as God intended.  Our hope is that we can create a relevant place for you to find friends, to find a local church in CVCC that is home.
